TracEquipment is a standalone software
product that keeps tracks of all
equipment in your organization - even if
the equipment is temporarily assigned to
a customer. TracEquipment features
include:
o Supports an unlimited number of
equipment records.
o Maintains all detailed information
about each piece of equipment, such as,
model number, serial number, purchase
amount, purchase date, warranty period,
location of equipment, the individual
that is using the equipment, equipment
notes, and more.
o Assign a piece of equipment to an
individual, department, division, and/or
a location. By assigning equipment
using these categories, you can quickly
identify all the equipment assigned to
an individual, department, location, or
division.
o Keep track of equipment that is
temporarily assigned at a customer
location or worksite.
o TracEquipment has a report that lists
all overdue equipment that has been
temporarily assigned to customers.
o TracEquipment has great searching
capabilities to help you quickly find a
piece of equipment.
o TracEquipment has two "meter reading"
input fields for each piece of equipment
which can be used to track the usage
between each assignment. The
description of each "meter reading" is
configurable on each piece of equipment.
For example, on a vehicle you can use
.Odometer. and .Usage hours. but on
another piece of equipment you could
use the word .Cycles..
o TracEquipment maintains a complete
audio trail (history log). As you
reassign equipment to different
departments, individuals, divisions,
and/or locations . TracEquipment
automatically creates a history record
which logs the assignment change as well
as the meter readings.
o TracEquipment does not require any
additional software applications (except
the .NET framework which is free).
TracEquipment is completely standalone.

With TracEquipment, there are no
per-user license charges and there are
no restrictions on the number of users.
However, TracEquipment was designed for
small to mid-size businesses that will
have 10 or less simultaneous
TracEquipment users.
o TracEquipment was developed under the
Microsoft .NET framework. The .NET
framework is Microsoft.s recommended
platform for all future software
products. Since TracEquipment was
developed under .NET, it is ready for
future versions of the Windows operating
system.
o TracEquipment supports both the
"mm/dd/yyyy" and the "dd/mm/yyyy" date
formats.
